Hand-carved stool from the Ivory Coast in western Africa. This sturdy wooden stool is a true work of art. Carved by a fisherman, the gently curved seat features fish-scale designs at each side. Hidden under the seat is a complete figure of a leopard. Perhaps most amazing of all is that the entire stool is carved from a single piece of wood! Talk about structure.
